A low-voltage cable distribution box is a crucial power distribution equipment used in 1kV and below cable lines to implement connection, branching, continuation and circuit conversion. It is widely applied in industrial and mining enterprises, civil buildings and urban power distribution networks. Its main features and selection criteria are as follows: 

Full-sealed protection 

It adopts a fully insulated and fully sealed design, featuring dust-proof, fire-proof and corrosion-resistant properties. The protection level usually exceeds IP44, and it can adapt to harsh outdoor environments. 

Modular structure 

Line configuration: The common "one inlet with multiple outlets" structure (such as one inlet with three outlets, one inlet with four outlets) is achieved through busbars or cable connectors for multi-circuit distribution. 

Switch type: The incoming line switch can be an 400A instantaneous circuit breaker, while the outgoing line switches are mostly 250A circuit breakers or fuse combination units. 

Surge protection: Some enclosures are equipped with 60kA surge protectors (SPD) to prevent damage to equipment caused by lightning overvoltage. 

Box material: The outer shell material includes cold-rolled steel, stainless steel or hard engineering plastics. For economy models, cast hard plastics are commonly used. In high-corrosion scenarios, stainless steel is the preferred choice.
